My Top 10 Plane Traveling Essentials

Every time I have to pack, no matter if it is a long or a short flight, I do have some traveling essentials that I need to take with me all the time, today I'll tell you my plane travel essentials.

1. The phone: I know it's pretty lame because everyone takes their phone, but I have to mention it because it is a big essential,  I have my music, games, books, social media all on my phone, and let's face it, you need all of that stuff when you travel (at least I do haha).

2. The portable charger: if your first essential is your phone, then the second has to be a portable charger, because your phone will be useless if you run out of battery. I prefer the portable charger because it annoys me to look for plungers on the airport and sit on the floor (we've all been there) waiting for your phone to charge!

3. Headphones: yes please!! Another big essential, to listen to your music, watch some video, but must important to shut off the background noise.

4. Neck Pillow: This is an essential for me because I do like comfort, and also because before I started taking a pillow with me, I always ended up with neck pain because of the awkward  sleeping positions I had.

5. Antibacterial gel: Let's be honest, Airports and planes aren't the cleanest places in the world, au contraire; the recycled air on the plane makes it a lot easier for germs to live and basically have a party there while the air we breath and everything we touch is full of them, so you want to make sure to always have antibacterial gel with you.

6. Eye Mask: If you travel during day time this is definitely a must in case you want to get some sleep on the plane, otherwise you could be disturbed by your sitting neighbor that maybe has the window open or wants to read with the reading light, so a win win for everyone is to put your eye mask on.

7.Snacks: This could actually be number one for me, I'm such a snacker when I travel and having IBS I have to make sure I always have some snacks with me in case I don't find food I can eat in the airport or on the plane (which is rare, but you never know); some of my faves are: cereal bars, rice crackers, dried fruits and real fruits like apples, or maybe some healthy snacks I baked the night before.

Now, the air on the plane it's super dry so it's always good to take care of your skin while you travel, that’s why I also carry with me:  8. Hand Moisturizer, 9. Lip Balm, 10. Face Moisturizer, these are my top 3, but when I fancy something more hydrating I take a sheet mask for my face or eyes gels for my under eye puffiness. In case you're traveling with makeup and you're too lazy to take it off on the plane, then I would recommend taking with you a face mist, this will help hydrate your skin without ruining your makeup.

So these are my essentials but, I do take more stuff with me because I'm  a heavy packer on recovery haha; but these are the things that go straight to my handbag, of course with my passport, purse and those obvious things; but I wanted to share them with you in case, like me, your handbag weights almost as equal as your carry on (which is not good at all) and you want to start taking just the essentials with you.
