My New Kiko Obsession
I remember the first time I tried Kiko products, it was 2 years ago in a trip to Milan where you can find their stores almost in every corner around the city.
First
thought: the great thing about it is that it’s not only a good quality
brand but it's also very affordable. In that trip I bought what is now my favorite highlighter (sadly now discontinued here), since then I'm sticked to the brand.
But today I want to focus on their eye shadows, specifically the Infinity Collection (which I discovered last year), They're
sold as single eye shadows for $8 and you can make your own palette
buying the case apart, that first time I only bought 3 of them, you
know... curiosity; I swatched some at the store and was very impressed
so I went for the 219, the 211 and the 234; these ones belong to the
high pigmented range.
The
quality and pigmentation of them are extraordinaire and the color
payoff is exactly what you can expect it to be, they are so buttery that
you can even play with the intensity and that exactly makes them super
blendable. They are pretty much what I wear in a daily basis, because
they aren’t just pretty, they are also practical; with only one you can
create a beautiful makeup (here).
The
range of color is amazing, bright, warm, cold tones, etc; every time I
go to the store I want to buy each and every one of them, and that's
exactly why I bought 3 more: the 241 and the 270 from the high pigmented
range and the 402 from the Sparkle range (which is like a fairytale
dream). Can you tell I'm in love?
These
eye shadows became by far my favorite ones, they are my go to for
simple-quick touches or more elaborated looks, not to mention that they
are perfect for traveling, as individual eye shadows they are so slim
that they would take almost zero space in your makeup bag, and as a
palette it would depend on which case you have, mine carries 3 single
eye shadows and I can say that is still pretty convenient.
Tip of the day: They're normally sold for $8, but as of now they have a 51% discount on their website.
